Anyone concerned with the state of the small business agenda in Washington, D.C. should be attending SBSC's Small Business Survival Summit from Monday, May 17, to Wednesday, May 19.

Among those providing valuable insights will be Steve Forbes, President & CEO of Forbes Inc., who will provide a major policy address "The Economy: Who Gets the Credit? Policies to Keep It Growing and Ones That Threaten Its Long-Term Health."

James Glassman, "Washington Post" columnist and host of "Technopolitics" on PBS, will speak about "The 21st Century Economy: Does Washington Get It? Does It Matter?"

Kellyanne Fitzpatrick, president of the polling company, will tell us about "Reading America: Behind the Surveys and the Polls," and key battleground issues for the 2000 elections.

And "The Wall Street Journal's" John Fund will moderate panels of experts addressing key tax and regulatory issues.

Tuesday evening will be a Capitol Hill Reception where SBSC presents awards to its Small Business Champions in Congress, and on Wednesday morning, leading members of Congress will outline the status of the small business agenda and their initiatives to keep small businesses thriving into the next century.

Call SBSC at 202-785-0238 for more information, or e-mail Sheree Anne Kelly at sakelly@sbsc.org.
